Or an ‘07 H3, 4x4, 115k miles, decent condition but with a bad transfer case with an auction estimate of $6,150?

I've driven a few H2 and didn't like them at all. Extremely unwieldy car, and ton of cheap plastic. Actually very small inside.

H3 is much better car, but you got to know what to buy. You want the 3.7l i5 engine, early models had a 3.5l i5 and it was anemic. Also, Luxury package is a must as it makes the interior so much nicer. If you want the off road prowess, you need the Adventure package. It adds rear locker and 4:1 low range ratio. The 2009/2010 cars with Adventure package have a front diff lock too.

Ultimate H3 is 2010 h3 alpha with both luxury and adventure packages.

Thanks. Good to know. You've just tripled my knowledge of Hummers (the vehicle, that is).
