If you can pull the cable out at all to get something insulated behind it, a plasma cutter will make short work out of braided steel cable.

Otherwise, a tiny die grinder/Dremel and a shitload of cut-off discs.

Who makes your sliders?

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

It is an accuslide system. I've reviewed the service manuals and the install materials and none of them address the issue of a tangled as all hell wire.

Also, the cables are about 2 inches behind the wall you are reaching back to.

Imagine trying to reach a wire that's behind your fridge with your chest pressed against the door of the fridge.

Do you think it's too tight for an oscillating tool like this?

The blades on mine are probably about 3.5" long... I'm not sure if they make a blade for these that can cut metal but I suppose you'd not be so worried about using the blade twice if it gets the job done.

It would have to be 8-9" total length including the blade for that to work.

Specs on that Makita are 3.9 x 12.2 x 4.9 inches

Might be a bit too fat.

Braze a full-size hacksaw blade to a sawzall blade stump.
