I know that is going up off the cuff as they are quoting using some reconditioned parts which I know Chris will tell them to get stuffed over and I need to go argue with them over trying to replace only 1 tire on an AWD system where the MFG says all 4 need to be replaced.
WOWZA! Doesn't the all four requirement depend on the difference in diameter between the old tires and the new one?(i.e. amount of thread wear)
Technically speaking you can get away with just replacing on the same axle, but manufacturer recommendation on any AWD vehicle I've owned says replace all 4. Yes you can get away with just replacing one if you don't have many miles on them, but (I need to check) these have somewhere between 5 and 10k. That's way too many to consider just one tire.

Understood. Porsche cars/SUV's are expensive to repair after a fender bender. Well I guess they all are these days.

Getting up at 7am really sucks, but today it was worth it!

Current vs what will be:

Of course with these new larger wheels I suppose all that extra space between them and the brake discs are going to demand a BBK... Oh well. Next insurance job

Shit! My week day alarm doesn't go off until 9am and I don't get out of bed until about 10! Screw this early morning shit :P

Yes they are. I've been wanting them since I started obsessing over the build. Other options were more important for my budget and buying them after the fact has always been too much to stomach ($5-6k). I just happened to check Rennlist (dammit) and saw someone respond to a WTB posting, so I reached out in case the OP didn't take them. We made a deal ($2800 delivered), the check cleared, and he personally dropped them off on his way to the beach. Things just have a way of working out when they are meant to be :)

Must be nice to even need an alarm clock. Has to be a young thing. In the past I could sleep until I had to pee really bad. 10 hours not unusual! These days go to bed at 10p and at eight hours wake up lay there staring out the windows. Then the 15# cat realizes I'm awake, comes over and demands to be fed. Witness all of my early posts. Thank GOD for this forum.

Those wheels will look Great! Especially when the wrinkled fender gets repaired. :(

Yup gnat, those are some nice hoops to throw on the pig. How long until the panel gets replaced?

The only guy Chris will let work on my cars is on vacation until like mid August so it won't be started until then. Even Chris thinks I'm joking, but I don't expect it back until Oct at this point. His shop does great work, but it is SLOW.

Thanks. Putting the Turbo bumper on the last time Chris had it was a major improvement to the look. This will be a big upgrade in that department as well I think.
