Since you live so close, and because we're chums - if I pay you a few bucks a week, do you think you could just drive my 996 around? Not forever...just until you get creamed by someone texting?

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Hi Cuda911, this is your insurance company, and, you're gonna laugh at this, but we actually owe you $3,000.

Hi Dr_Strangelove (whew!), this is your insurance company, and, you're gonna laugh at this, but we're raising your rate again.

Yeah...

Though we did have something similar when we bought her 996. 6 months later we got a check in the mail from the dealer for $7k. We called to ask WTF and they said it was crediting for them not paying the VA state taxes (MD dealer) as we took care of it. We explained that they correctly never charged us for taxes, but they were insistent that their records showed that we were owed this. We didn't fight it.

Better still, some how VA dropped a decimal place from the price so we only paid taxes as it if was a $10,300 purchase. We didn't bother to correct that either

Hmmm... Come to think of it. I scored pretty good with the VAG settlement on the P!g too. Maybe we really should buy nothing but Porsches from here on out...

Assume statute of limitations has run out on these examples?

Pretty sure for the Porsche dealer (we did set the money aside for a year in the event they came to their senses). As far as VA goes, it's the government so who knows. If they ever do come after me I'm sure I'll have to go to court over it. While I'm happy to pay the correct amount and even some interest, I'm not willing to pay 20 years worth of compounding interest and penalties for their mistake and such cases almost always tack that on.
