Isn't the funny what people recognize as a "real Porsche"? Seems like this has been going on for years. Back in the Aircooled days, it was the 914 that wasn't a real Porsche. When the 996 and 986 came out, all the Porsche purists said they weren't real Porsches and only a true Porsche was Aircooled. Then later it seemed all the non-911 Porsche cars and SUVs weren't "real Porsches" and now most of that attention has moved to the new Taycan? Will it ever end?

The Taycan receiving lots of (maybe well-deserved) grief for calling it's top of the line models a "Turbo". Other than that, though, there doesn't appear to be a lot to complain about the vehicle. I would love to have one.

I got blocked on twitter by some car media ninny who was being willfully ignorant that "turbo" just means "top of the line" for Porsche in that context.
