Did they put the jumps at the Glen??

Ha! People are crazy. "I've had a few at the wine festival, so take the wheel Junior. Nine years old is plenty old to drive."

Apparently this came up during an investigation into alleged child abuse so the "we weren't sure what would happen if we said no" statement from one of the kids is perhaps telling. Dude is kind of a giant jackass so none of this is shocking although it is sad.

The court documents say that once Neil Wiest’s children were done driving, he forced one of Yvonne Wiest’s children to drive, though the child told police he cried and said he did not want to. Neil Wiest told him, “sometimes you have to do things in life you don’t want to (expletive) do,” and, “If you don’t start now, you’ll probably never learn,”

What a POS.

Oops, yeah, the last part of the article seems unnecessary and is a little confusing if it is the same guy.

My parents taught me how to drive in the 3rd grade, just in case of emergency. I was always tall as a kid and could get the seat (big old Cadillac) far enough forward to reach the pedals. All my classmates thought I was the man when I pulled up to the line every morning!
