I mean, on that note, I kind of don't want to know where anything comes from :?

There's a solid chance that pretty much anything can be described as terrible.

Hmm, looks like I stumbled into the "Trumpisms" thread. I thought I was in the Good Week thread.

(normally DTM does a pretty good job of pointing that out - wonder why he's quiet this time? :?: )

Well, on a non-political note, dammit, there's a 2001 996TT at the dealer auction today.

57k miles. Nicely optioned. Sport seats. Decent but certainly not perfect condition (I can see the spoiler hydraulics are shot). Nice color combo. I'd buy it to play with it and flip it, but I have 2 extra cars in the garage right now (which is where I'd be sleeping if I bought it). Auction value estimate is $34,700, and I think it would sell private party for about $40k, maybe $42k.

I've never seen a 996TT go through the auction. 2 weeks from now, I'd be able to pull the trigger on it. Freaking bad timing.

Because I give fewer shits about trying to convince people of things that are obvious as all fuck to anyone who cares as the days stretch into weeks.

Driver seat shows a lot of wear for 57k miles. That and the drivers floor mat is in there sideways I would say it's a clapped out track rat!

BTW trump sucks it.

So, just to clarify, if it is anti-Trump, then political statements are OK in the 996 forum. But, if it is conservative or pro-Republican, then it's banned. Wow, that's gonna help bring in new members and isn't going to undermine the website at all.

Maybe we should create a sub-forum for political stuff.

Yeah, as much as I love tan interior, it just doesn't wear well. That seat could be dyed for a couple of hundred bucks, though. There are a few other spots like that on the interior though.

I am going to watch it online. If for some reason it sells for under $30k, I'll bid on it and risk the wrath of the wife.

I think there should be no politics on the site. It's a car forum. I've lost that fight so I've stopped bothering.
