I see a montero limited from 2005-2006. What a superb dakar winning truck.

I will re-watch the TG Alpha Challenge episode to remind myself of exemplary Alfa craftsmanship and stellar reliability. You can never be a true museum curator if you never owned an Alfa.

I so miss that show...

So when I drop my Indy's master wheel lock keys back to him (see my P!g thread for the why if you want) he is with another customer (I suspect of the dead ringer for Cuda's old car that was in a bay). I wait outside his office out of courtesy even though I was just dropping the tools and running.

I caught part of the conversation where the customer was telling my Indy about a friend who apparently had a Turbo and sold it because he needed a new clutch and couldn't swallow the bill. So he replaced it with a Giulia...

One of the reasons that I like my Indy is because he is afraid of offending no one. He immediate response was "Your friend is an idiot"

I know not everyone is savvy with personal finance and even doctors can live paycheck-to-paycheck. I'm forever grateful for the lessons my wife has taught me over 14 beautiful years to live comfortably below our means and meet our personal goals with diligence, sacrifice, and compromise...

But how TF can one afford a Turbo and not a clutch?

Don't think it was an "afford" thing given that he apparently jumped into an Alfa (for that fine Italian reliability I'm sure!).

I was called “despicable” by opposing counsel today.
Given his conduct in the case, I took it as a compliment.
My only response was “Duly noted.” I think that pissed him off even more.
