Did you do both lids or just the frunk?
I suppose that is a valid question given my celebrated half-assed nature, but I did both.

Not intended as a personal affront. Just wondering because after the engine lid clocked my mech. I only changed those. The next winter in the cold I discovered the weakness in the frunk struts too. Didn't try to decapitate me but I saw it easing downwards out of the corner of my eye and caught it with my hand. Thank goodness for peripheral vision. I should have known better; the 300ZX hatch lid taught me about cold weather and struts years ago.

OK, fun fact, zoom in on my passenger side mirror, and you’ll see Einsteiger again (white shirt and jeans). Couldn’t do that again if I tried!!

The penalty for hitting those “cones” is more severe than just a 2 second add.

It was a great day. I never looked at my timed results because it just didn't matter. Just doing the event with everyone involved exceeded expectations and then some. Oh, and thanks for the great pic, Frunk....for some reason my iPhone camera is lacking....or maybe it's the user. Regardless, below is my favorite attorney, hard at work, wheeling/dealing even as his grid spot approacheth.....

Those safety bastards insisted that I go hands-free during my run . . .

I think I’m finally done fiddling and canoodling with the car for 2019. Meh, maybe. X74 alignment finishes it up today.
