5chn3ll wrote: Fri Sep 07, 2018 1:29 pm Based on my service writer's recommendations, the dual-row LN hybrid bearing they installed ~30K miles ago is being left in situ. Their techs have not seen a single failure of the LN dual-row retrofit since they started installing them.
I'm debating this as well. The dual-row LN hybrid bearing in my MY2000 has about 30k miles on it and is 7 years old. My AOS is original so I'm anxious to get that replaced even though it's showing no signs of failure. Being that it's a cab and a tip, I've read that the engine needs to be out in order to do the AOS. I'm guessing that replacing the "thing" at the same time will cost another $1k. What to do?
Given that yours is a tippy, I'd also not spend the money on replacing the bearing. Consequently, I'd leave the AOS alone until it fails or you need to get in there for some other reason.

You got this, Bill!

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

I feel like I've thrown enough PM at the car. Now that Porsche is selling us engines that are quasi-affordable, I'm a lot less risk averse.

custom built exhaust with a handmade x pipe inside a Borla casing. Warm start with revs to 4k and 5k backing her into the driveway after a wash. Going to a local Porsche show tomorrow after church.

I assumed you meant you wanted the video included directly.

The trick is to use the http rather than https version of the url.

Garage is coming along. Have a few places I need to touch up with some joint compound, but walls are pretty much done. Also installed a new wall mount opener to get more vertical height for the lift. I ordered an 84" epiq, so the garage will be pretty well equipped in a few weeks.
