Snow might be coming tomorrow - definitely Sunday / Monday, so I took the '99 out for a drive and a couple of errands. Just as I parked at Academy Sports I noticed that the odometer had rolled over 84,000.

Lost forever. I had the phone cam ready...I knew it was coming up....but I was on I-435 and just about the time the odo rolled, my Valentine One sounded off. It was a sufficient distraction so I threw the phone on the seat and waited until I parked.

Next stop, 90K

Caught a magic number today

Also found that the area in a C4 for the factory CD changer is a perfect pie holder!

I have determined that my wife must have been cheating on me 8 years ago. Gave a pecan to my oldest and he nearly gagged. Clearly not of my blood!!!

The youngest liked the caramelized pecans, but wasn't sure about the pie filling. So I'm watching him!

Took the 996 out for a 30-mile warm up then over to the extremely crowded cars wash to spray off a little salt from last weekend & give the wheels a good going over. 64 degrees and folks were out in shorts & sandals washing their rides. Part of the local low-riders were there with music blaring. The old geezer with his 911 stood out more than a little. I got a lot of head nods from the riders & nodded back in respect. Not a bad day at all.
