The price was really right, and I was wary about the brand until I read somewhere that they are the suppliers for a GT car? Maybe I made that up.
I think I had Kumho Ecstas on my C4, which I drove year round. I have had them on other cars as well. I think they're actually pretty good for all season street tires.

I agree.. I felt they handled as good as the expensive Michelin P-sports that I paid a major arm and leg for. I now have sumitomos on my coupe and they're great too. Handle very well even at higher speeds. But I heard Tire Rack is no longer selling them for the 996 18" wheels? Ugh.

Tire Rack likes selling those PS2's & 4's. One of the reasons I sold my '87 Benz was the 15" wheels. It was getting harder to find decent tires in that size. I really hope that 18's are not headed that way. 19" or 20" would look ridiculous on my '99.

When the time comes I'll probably go with Bridgestone [great luck on other cars] or another brand that won't require the Michelin premium. The PCA locals may shun me...so be it....they ain't paying for them. :)

I'll remember that at PCA renewal time.
