Totally, That's got to be the main reason I joined this forum. As soon as I lurked some of the threads and saw how much fun it is here I was like:

Still, I just don't see that amount of money in damage there.......$7,000-$9,000 MAYBE...if it were a Turbo I could definitely see closer to $15,000 but $20,000?............ Come on man......it feels like somebody at the shop is trying to position themselves to make money buy buying it off the insurance company on the cheap, and flipping it for $25,000-$30,000 and skating away with a pocket $5,000-$8,000 deeper. Something just seems off about this......

Where is the world where a wrecked 996 goes for $25,000+? I want to live in that world.

if the mufflers were involved then the fabspeed costs have come into play.. that alone will make up $5k

sounds like buy it back and pick up a roller.. or put it out there and the sharks will circle quickly

Getting another estimate, to compare. So, 997 not a sure thing at all.

Besides, I love my 996, quirks and all. So, either way, 997.2 or I fix my car, I will be happy.
