Who was the wise guy at Porsche that decided to put two big square holes in the bumper for a plate mount? Never seen another like it!

Counterpoint: front plates ruin all cars.

We're supposed to have them in NV, but I've never been bothered about it even in the boonies. Good for me because I'd be the only stubborn MF'er in the Pen serving a life sentence for repeat no front plate offenses.

I disagree. There are plenty of cars out there that are already terrible looking which the addition of the front plate does nothing to make it look worse. In fact you could argue it is covering some of the ugly.

Her e90 doesn't have it's front plate either just because that's our habit. It looks a bit odd though compared to a properly plated car as the bumper has this big blank area that just looks kinda off.

It totally destroys the lines of the 996 front end though and on the Pig it blocks the radiator :?

I put the front plate on because why give Jersey cops another reason to pull me over? Sure it ruins the lines, but I'm already paying a yearly surcharge for tickets. The new personalized license plate does take the sting out a little bit, in fact.

That said, twice in the past week I have warned my kids (who still sit in the back seat), "Daddy's getting stopped by the cops" as I blew past a statey on Route 280. And twice now the statey didn't pull out. Must be my rabbit's foot is working or something.

Just saying there are somethings where a bit of eye distraction is a good thing

I mean really. Is a front plate gonna make this look worse?

Apparently New Mexico doesn't require a plate on the front either...Don't think I would tell him the car would look better with a front plate though.
