The tires I got are stock size so they would fit the twists. But that begets the question, why are there spacers on the rear? Still in the shop, I will look at them when it gets out.

Also, while looking at rims, most have rubs and scratches. Does anyone know what it costs to refurb a rim, or a set of 4?

American Factory Wheel quoted me $250 per wheel - so I rattle-canned mine and I'm keeping an eye out for a better set of used wheels for my next set of tires...my twists will become track/trip wheels.

Got it back today. Wow, the tires and alignment made a huge difference. There is zero vibration and play in the steering wheel. They gave me a nice printout of the before and after, I had 5 settings in the red. I did ask why the rear spacers are needed on these even though the tires are the same- it's because the offset is different on the C4S compared to the twists.

The mechanic also confirmed the oil level issue is in the cluster, so I will be sending that out to get fixed.

First mod- installed the ultimate cupholder today, worked great. The misses was rolling her eyes asking, I thought you were going to leave it stock, what now?

Also ordered the upper storage din to replace the CD holder, I need to put that in. And new floor mats ordered but they have not arrived yet.

Unfortunately, storage bin for CD holder mod is not even a one beer job. I suppose you could stretch it from 30 seconds to a full minute by being overly cautious.

Very true, that was about 30 seconds. But the impact is tremendous as now I have a place to store my phone! And I really like my ultimate cupholder. Just waiting on the floor mats, shows them here Monday

Took a drive today in the hill country. The curves are quite fun. Cupholder also shown holding my nalgene, need to vacuum it, then will get some interior pics

For those not following on RL, I did send the cluster to Module Masters https://modulemaster.com/rebuilds/shop/ ... -911-2003/ I overnighted it Monday so it was there Tuesday morning. I received a confirmation shipping email on Wednesday morning, so a fast 24 hour turnaround. I received it Thursday evening and installed it. The results are attached. I am happy with the result and fast turn around that MM did. It has a 5 year warranty too. I appreciate the help people gave to alert me of this issue.

Glad to hear it worked out fine. It's always nice when you get a tip that saves big $$ and it turns out to actually work!

Yes, agreed J. The overnight shipping was pricey but much less than a $3600 cluster I read about. Now if the weather will clear up a bit so I can drive it more!
