Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Subaru owners seem to be pretty polarized. Either you had a great experience and absolutely love them, or you think they were the worst car you ever owned and would shoot someone if they tried to give you one.
MIL had a Forester that was always in the shop and the tailgate had started to rust before it was 2 years old and interior trim was always breaking. BIL had a WRX (not STI) that he enjoyed driving, but it also had a few major mechanical issues and also seemed to have an endless stream of broken interior bits. Both were bought new and were this century (mid 00s maybe?). Neither will consider another even with a warranty and will warn people off if asked about them.
On the flip side I know people that have been driving nothing but Subarus for 30+ years, have had few significant issues, and absolutely love them.

I've been promising to resurrect a fog machine for the Mrs. for years for proper Halloween festivities...last night, finally got around to it. The machine works OK, but the metal case was wrecked. The U.S. Navy helped out with the surplus ammo tin; I burned a hole in the front with an oxy-map torch.
I added a timer and a wireless remote; it will create X seconds of fog every X minutes, or you can just mash the wireless remote. For the video, it was set for .5 secs of fog every 10 seconds.

I have to admit... This got me. I was walking to my car in work garage, walked past this car and went "oh shit!!!"

I was irked that Louis totally pooched his one and only shot to pass Max, but stoked that Kimi got the win and that the championship wasn't decided and thus didn't detract from his podium. The Ice Man is the man, man.

Agreed ... great win by Kimi. He should also be able to set a new record for F1 starts before he’s done, which IMO is a pretty big deal when there’s a small number of available seats and a seemingly unlimited supply of fearless 18-year-olds graduating from F2. It’s a sign of the times that Esteban Ocon might be out of a ride next year unless Mercedes strikes a deal with Williams (e.g. by forking over several free power units).
As for Lewis, he’s been in Vettel’s head so long he should be granted citizenship.

I thought it was kind of crappy for Nico to quit after winning his championship, but I can understand why...Lewis was coming for his scalp otherwise.
Agreed that Lewis has pretty much owned Vettel's head - with a couple of notable stretches this year and last year - since he left RB for Ferrari.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
I posted this in Schenlly's MAF thread, but figured I would post it here for some extra visibility. Autozone is running a 20% of promo code FALL20, but this is the real kicker: They are offering a life time warranty on this Bosch MAF! $130.40 before taxes + life time warranty is a killer deal in my opinion.
