Although I love working and driving my 996, my other passions are older 4x4 trucks. My last rebuild was a 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser where I did a complete performance upgrade including installing a Chevy 350 (that I built with my son so as to show him how an engine works) that puts out over 350 hp and bolted up to a 700R4 automatic transmission, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes and Air lockers.
I am currently performing a full frame off restoration of a 1949 Dodge Power Wagon "B1 PW". As of now, it is a complete rolling running chassis with a total engine, trans, transfer case and PTO rebuild and having every nut, bolt, seal, bushing, ect replaced. All that's left is the sheet metal.

Re: My Other Passions
I definitely have a soft spot for old FJ's, first gen bronco's, etc. and had many in the past, though I think if I drove one today, I would be shocked at the (lack of) drivability and performance.
