Road hard and put up wet!
“New” 996 in the area. Ragged out with dents on every panel.... the few times I’ve seen it the owner hasn’t even washed it either. Is there hospice for these old cars?

Is gnat visiting your area? He is always bragging about how bad the paint is on his wife's 996. Not sure about dents...
Never gonna make you cry...

Sounds like my kind of owner!
Of course her car has a dent (and I was involved in it's addition), but that car is missing the best aerokit Porsche has and probably ever will design.

And that owner probably never heard of 28 modes of failure, JD40 racing oil, and may even use non N rated tires.
B3, photoshop a Porsche version of ricer ticket and issue him a copy. He got dent, dirty car, porsche crests not pointing to vavle stem, non N rated tires...am I missing something?

And, he would have had the spoiler up, 'cept it's broken.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
This dude looks pretty content. Tall guy and happy looking... not a care in the world. Bet ya has no clue of internet forums or all the problems that plague the car. To him, this is a fancy way to get from A to B. Probably snagged it at a local car auction down near the Atlanta Dragway where a lot of the dealers dump their problematic cars and/or cars that have no potential of quickly selling within their 30 day limit. Heck, my local dealership offered me $17K on trade on my last Cab, but admitted they would just send it to auction since it's not a car they'd feel would sell quickly. However, lots of the locals go down to the auctions on the weekends and look for weird and interesting things to buy if they can get it for cheap.
This car obviously is an early 98 build due do the pumpkins which means dual row bearing. Next time I see this dude in town and going to strike up a conversation and see what he knows. Now my curiosity is getting the best of me. ha! Maybe I'll put a 996Outpost stick on his car? lol

Yo Radler is good beer for the summer. I prefer mine with lemonade but the grapefruit one hits the spot.

On a different note, I feel like I should buy this for $300, although I am not sure why. It is the right color.
https://kansascity.craigslist.org/pts/d ... 49954.html
Used Porsche Type 964 RS 3.8 Rear Wing/Spoiler... NEW PRICE! - $300 (Overland Park)
Good News! A new and IMPROVED PRICE! As of today June 10, the new price is $300.00!
This unit is a carbon fiber composite wing in good condition with just a few minor imperfections.
Currently painted "Guards Red", this rear wing is a direct bolt on replacement for the rear engine cover/deck lid.
(There are no scratches on the ends, merely surface reflections in the photographs.)
Originally designed for the Porsche 964, made from 1989 to 1994, it may also be fitted to Porsche 911 models 1974 to 1989.
Since I no longer have my 911 Porsche, I have no need for this part that has already been in storage quite a while.
It really deserves to find a new home on another Porsche, instead of on a shelf.
I am offering it for sale at a reasonable price compared to other comparable units on the market.
NOW Asking $300.00 for this wing/rear spoiler unit. Those who have waited, can now save!
Only local pickup available at this time.
