Wowwwww. I do this for a living and most people I know rent those. Your wife is a lucky lady! What body did you settle on?

Going with the 907. Yes I bought her a bloody expensive lens for a camera that doesn't actually exist yet. They've already delayed it twice now (and shops have given up estimating the ETA for the new zoom lens) so who knows when she'll actually get to use it. We are wondering if the camera will show up first or if my P!g will finally be done in the shop...

There is a second lens in the package deal for her too. From what I could tell online and in person (turns out a local shop that I thought closed ages ago is still in business) the 80 seems a good place to start for her. After she sees how that does I told her she can have a second when she knows what role she needs filled.

Yeah if I remember the conversion chart the 80 crops to a 50-something mm lens. 50mm is what I walk around with on a 35mm sensor. I'm sure the 80mm Hasselblad prime will look gorgeous. Understatement.

Have her take some sample images for the forum when she gets the body. Ideally of cars but whatever, I'm a camera nerd too. :geek:

Back at ya! Today is supposed to be nice enough to justify my first 996 drive of 2020. Afternoon high of about 55, with sunshine no less.
