Give us long distance runners a few month's notice to make plans and I'll totally drive 5CHN3LL's evil twin to KC.

By Frunk cartography that would be just down the street from me so it would be silly if I didn't at least consider not showing up.

Doc - When things open back up a bit, my oldest son and I still plan to do a cross-country trip. He's buying a BMW i3 from the dealer's auction in Riverside, CA (east LA), then he and I will fly out to LAX and drive it back home. First leg of the trip will be LA to Vegas. Hope to get to Vegas in mid-afternoon on a Saturday. The plan is to fly out on a Friday, spend the night in LA, get up early Saturday morning and be at the Petersen Museum for rope drop. Then, hit the road at 11 am for Vegas. Hopefully it will be sometime in June. Would be great to meet up for a beer somewhere in Vegas. We'll be staying somewhere on the Strip, but I'm fine with driving to a locals hangout.

Well, you could bring whatever vehicle that you own that needs bodywork. Drop it off at the shop here and pick it up at the next annual convention. Would still be quicker for you.

I watched the first couple of minutes, but I'll watch the whole thing later. At least he accepts blame for the last 996 he had - he didn't crap on the model series like most internet "experts". The video was just posted today, and already has nearly 90,000 views. Damn, like him or not, the guy's got followers.

Yeah I hate the guy, but I did watch up until shortly after he pulled it into his garage. He does seem to genuinely like the 996 and understand it's value.

I agree it was nice to see him own up to what happened to Apollo. What always pissed me off was that he started off on a great premise about a car that had given lie to the "these cars are all garbage and going to blow up" FUD we are all so familiar with. He then, instead, went out of his way to intentionally kill the poor thing.

Other than getting not realizing it's him before clicking on the video (as happened here) I won't be following this car, but I hope he follows through and sees if he really did get a good car for $6k. If so, I hope he treats it as such to show people what it really can be.

Speaking of followers, is anyone else following B3's car on BAT? Closes out here later this afternoon. He is getting lots of Raby love.
