Re: 996Outpost monthly giveaways now sponsored by Kansas City Automotive Museum!
Well I'm back from planting the seeds that were enclosed, have donned my hazmat suit and am ready to review the other items enclosed.
Very nice things found here!
Of note is a vintage Triple A map! Now children, a map is a folded up paper item that displays roads, cities, towns and items of interest in a state for the drivers of the past. They were updated and printed on an annual basis to keep them accurate. This was before the time of GPS and Google maps.
Honestly a veritable plethora of interesting and fun items including a tee shirt, vintage car, vintage truck-piggy bank, a 1995 911 poster and an Outpost996 sticker. Even a pic of my favorite president and two other pics of one I wished I have never heard of, but this isn't a political thread so I must stop there...
Thanks to The Kansas City Automotive Museum and Frunk for sponsoring and loading me up with goodies .
Also Thanks to Herr 5chn3ll and his minions for this website. It is a good place to be.

Speaking of monthly giveaways, tomorrow is going to be a total sh*tshow for me, so I may not get to the drawing until Sunday. Please refrain from giving me the standard crap ration.
Your description of the AAA map reminded me of the Grand Tour/Top Gear episode where James May refers to the GPS in his car as "the electric map." The spaniel rules.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

He will always be Capitan Slow to me even after driving a couple of Veyrons very rapidly.

Is that an invitation to dial the crap rationing up to "11"?

We retired our existing firewall and load balancers this weekend and reworked the network topography to support the new virtualized Kemp and Sophos delivery controllers and firewalls. NBD.
