Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Thinking of replacing the IMSB in my new Jeep so I can sleep better. Should I go with "The Solution" or "The Final Solution"?

And, speaking of Jeeps, If you thought that 996 lingo was interesting to learn, here's what I have to deal with on my Jeep forum:
"I am swapping my YJ this winter. 5.3 w/4L60E 231C/231J morphed transfer case, Explorer 8.8 out back. I understand AA makes a kit for putting in a VSS with 40 tooth wheel. I was wondering if the Explorer VSS/ABS sensor on the rear diff can be use for the signal? I assume some reprogramming would be necessary for the 108 tooth on the rear gear. I would rather use what I have if it is possible.. Any input would be greatly appreciated."

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
So last week I swing by the grocery store on the way home and the 911 decides to have an exceptionally dead battery.
Today I swing by the same store on the way home and the P!g decides that it's turbo is unimportant (I can, however, assure you that in a 5500lb vehicle it most decidedly is important!)
Thanks to VW's diesel shenanigans, however, I will need to pay neither the tow nor repair bills.

I would find a different store. It could be your personal Bermuda Triangle!gnat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 10:58 am So last week I swing by the grocery store on the way home and the 911 decides to have an exceptionally dead battery.

On the bright side, at least while a Porsche is down I don't have to drive a Vette

You anti-Corvette people are just...makeists. What's next? Going to burn a Chevrolet logo on my lawn?
Sick.
Sick.
Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Sort of. I've been working with your neighbor to secretly teach PeePeeEye to pee on your lawn in the pattern of the Ford logo. Another 6 months and the grass should start dying as planned!

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
So, is M1 0W40 oil the right oil for the M96 engine or are there others? Also, I found that HF sells a bearing made by Bang-Ding-Oww company that closely resembles IMS bearing for just $2.99 (with coupon, limit 3 per person); has anyone used it?
