Yesterday I opened the garage and looked at both cars for a while...and then I decided to bust out the deferred PM on the one with the shortest list so I could take it for a rip with a clear conscience...

Drove it to Porsche Breakfast, then Cars & Coffee at the auto museum afterwards, where someone thought it was a 914.

Is it actually possible to insult a 996 by confusing it with another Porsche model?

Asking for a friend.

You should have told him/her "Why no. Actually it is a 356!"

...and tell your friend "no...no you can't!"

Methinks they are nearsighted and knew I just got a new-to-me red 914 and saw a red car sitting on the other side of the parking lot . . .
