Do you guys take the side vent off and come in from the side normally or just contort and reach up?

Height - or girth?
Not calling you out, but if my arthritic 6’2” fat ass can manage it…
I haven’t had a duct on the driver-side dash vent since the first (of 3) switch swaps…and I just leave a jeweler’s screwdriver in the center console/glove box/whatever. I have two ignition switches “in stock” currently.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

I dunno man!? Maybe both? I'm 6'1" - but the funny thing is I'm in the best shape of my life. I've lost a lot of weight. I'm about 30 lbs away from my final goal and fitting in my old size 36 pants. So if anything I'm "big boned".

Heh. I am NOT in the best shape of my life. An unusual shape, maybe, but not a good one.

I took the side cover and vent off and was not bad after that getting to the ignition switch. Part of my taking the whole freaking dash apart to change out the dash trim strip.Dr_Strangelove (whew!) wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 10:00 am I got my new ignition switch in and I'm basically the maximum size a person can be to do this job lying in the foot well.

I took the bottom "tube" off, which is necessary, but not the side cover or anything. I've done this twice, the second time it gets much easier. Once you've got the screws out, you're like 80% done.Dr_Strangelove (whew!) wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 10:00 am I got my new ignition switch in and I'm basically the maximum size a person can be to do this job lying in the foot well.

There is an argument for taking the seat out, but that seems really hard.
