Thus, mother's day sucks for the Mrs. - so we avoid restaurants, church, etc. where she gets inundated with "Happy Mother's Day" wishes from well-meaning people who don't have any idea...

Hey, I had someone wish me a Happy Mother's Day on Sunday, so there's that. Hell, I ain't even mad.

For those of you with kids, wish your wives a happy Mother's Day. For those of you without, make sure your wife is all good. :)

V. Nice! I had to recover yesterday from what in actuality was probably the dust from the haboob we had on Mother's day, but what I attribute to being such a good father/son that I busted my ass to take care of my momma and my baby momma on Sunday. :D

I think the official answer is "What lake?"

But I know what you're talking about; and for the ones that are still alive I'm sure their only solace is the fact that the discovery of the bodies is coinciding with an ecological calamity that will overshadow a bunch of 40,50-year cold murder cases in short order. I know a lot of "born and raised" Vegas natives and they have been telling me they have joked all their life about how their parents would tell them not to swim in Lake Mead because "there were bodies in there." So, the whole situation seems to be one of those things that on the face of it should be farcical but in reality is just another one of those 'happens in Vegas' stories that continues to prove to us that life is just as if not more strange than fiction.

Anybody want to bet how many they'll find in 2022? We've gotten two in about a week so at this clip I'd say any guesses in the XX digits are not absurd.

In other news I saw that the wallpaper "perfectionist" guy came back to Rennlist under an alias to ask for advice setting up a GoFundMe and/or selling his now roller.

MY GOD DID THAT GUY DESTROY THAT CAR!? I had not seen a "before" picture and it honestly made me a little bit sad.

I was wondering the other day what had happened to him. We got that 3/98 guy now who is also always drunk; and the thought had passed through my head that maybe they're the same guy, because they have the same run-on sentence structure and tase for mods.

But, nope! Brian is back and it turns out he blew his engine and that's why he disappeared.

Guy has really poor taste and he's lazy, a deadly combo. How you paint your wheels and not bother to take five minutes to take off the center badges first, I don't get it. You go to all the trouble to remove your old front clip and put on a new one and leave the sidemarker hanging, which is a spring fit piece. The neon may be the capper. I don't know how anyone other than a 12-year-old thinks that's a good idea for a Porsche. Also, not sure why it bugs me so much, his car. But cripes.

Where you been, mang?

BTW, I got a kick out of your Mother's Day photo collage for your wife on Facebook. Normally, the photos that women post show them in the perfect pose and in the best light and only the most flattering way. Men, on the other hand, actually like to post funny pictures. I've got a doctor buddy whose wife would literally divorce him had he posted a candid photo of her.
