I'm out of town until late in the day next Saturday - but the Spanish Landing event is worth going to.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Too bad, I was hoping to say hello to both of you guys.
Looks like I’ll have to track down your region president on my own to start my in-person campaign to get the SDRPCA logo updated.

Well, a picture of a bird makes perfect sense for a city that has no architectural or geographic landmarks of note.
(damn, maybe we should change the KCRPCA logo to a bird)

Day 4 of Mrs. S's annual apple-canning extravaganza.

I think we'll wind up with about 140 jars of habañero apple jelly, apple butter, apple jam, apple pie filling, three varieties of applesauce, apple-coffee-caramel jam, apple/caramelized onion/curry chutney, and a freezer full of ready-to-bake apple crisp.

As designated apple peeler, I decided that cranking the peeler manually is stupid...

I think I suggested this before: You guys need to open a booth at the local Farmers Market.

IIRC 5chn3lly has a large extended family (wife's side). If correct, then just invite them all over for a nice family reunion. In addition to all the joy that'll obviously bring to 5chnlly and his wife, the clan can go through all these apple delicacies like a swarm of hungry locusts. Problem solved!
