Dang, I drove the 996tt to work today, and as I was about 3 blocks away from the office, the check engine light popped on. It was running fine, so probably something minor (fingers crossed). Now it's bugging me to not know the code all day. This is the first time in the 8+ years I've owned it that the check engine light has come on.

Well, here are the codes it threw:
IMG_0588.jpeg

I decided to erase them to see if they came back. I did a PCA fun run today and put about 150 miles on the car. The light has stayed off, so maybe just a transient condition.

That did not end well for him.

Drove the Turbro to a wedding yesterday, putting another 100 miles on it, and still the check engine light has not returned. Looking at the forums, it may be the MAF sensor getting dirty or simply beginning to fail.

I think you are on to something with the MAF being the culprit.
Usually a faulty maf throws Check Engine & PSM & ABS warning lights though. I haven't seen a P1109 code before. How is the air filter?

The air filter is an EVOMS aftermarket housing unit. Probably in need of some attention, frankly. Thanks for the suggestion as I've not changed it since I've had the car.
