I was driving home last night in our X3 and it was very cold and light snow. Normally the headlight are great and the high beams through far. I noticed that everything seemed diffused. I pulled into a gas station and the headlights were iced over. Scrapped off the ice and within 5 minutes they were iced over again.
I guess that they don't generate much heat

There were a lot of things about my X5 I didn't love - it was definitely not the most capable off-road SUV...the diesel version I bought weighed nearly 3 tons, so gravity was a profound issue. But the interior was really nice, and the audio system was the best stock stereo of anything I've ever owned. And it was so quiet! The Grand Cherokee with Wildpeak AT/2's is LOUD.

You might try treating the headlights with a professional-grade ceramic coating designed for windshields (if the lenses are glass) or paint (if the lenses are plastic). Proud owner of a Flat6-powered 2002 996 Cab, 2016 GT4, 2019 Ford F-150 "Country Cadillac", and 2005 Ford Focus (not so hot hatch) daily driver. And a Wright ZTO 52" to keep several acres of grass-like substance neat and tidy!

Digging deeper into the world of Fiat-Chrysler (eew). I picked up a salvage rear view mirror on eBay from a better-than-mine spec Grand Cherokee...and I happen to have an OBDLink EX cable and AlfaOBD running in a Windows 10 VM on my garage Macbook Pro.
Once I get the mirror (and a dongle from Amazon to bypass the Fiat Chrysler security gateway module), I can use AlfaOBD to tell the BCM that the Jeep has auto-dimming high beams.

OK, staring directly down the barrel of my 60th birthday (the 29th), so I just booked a long weekend in Sonoma Valley for the BoF and myself. We are staying at the Fairmount Mission Inn Sonoma in Boyes Hot Springs. But, other than hitting the spa for half a day, I have no other plans. So, any suggestions for winter activities in Sonoma? Obviously, hitting 3 or 4 wineries is on the list, but which ones are best?
Any other recommendations?
Restaurants?
Shops?
Driving over to the coast?
We are flying into and out of Oakland, but I'm not planning to spend any time there. I haven't been to San Fran in probably 20+ years - anything there to see, especially on a Sunday early afternoon?
