Is this gonna become a yearly run? My wife has some family over in KC Mo, and I have family in Columbia, Mo. I live in Austin so making this drive is nothing new - I'd love to do this if my work doesn't get in the way

My personal goal as a member of this forum moving forward is to host a social event every year somewhere in the country. I loved KC and the car culture there and I have a huge goal of going back. Maybe even driving my own car next time, but we'll see if I make it a year without putting it on stands. That is stopping me from big trips at the moment. I'm always swearing at it with parts on my garage floor. But we're tooting now and I'm feeling good lol.

More on somewhere in the country - I'm located in the southwest and there are a lot of members in CA, so it may be more convenient for me at certain times to organize something more local to me.

Next year - I am aiming to be in KC again for the underground event.

Next year's event will be on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. I would love to have a bunch of guys come in for the event. It was a good time this year, despite the tornadic weather on Saturday night.

The name of the event is changing back to "Dancing with the Cars" for next year, which is what it was called from 2015 through 2023. We hired an event coordinator for 2024, and she insisted on a name change to "The Car Affair", which no one could figure out exactly what that meant.

I expect the 2025 event to be bigger and better, so come on in to KC! We'll plan a get-together for Friday night, and then some activities for the day on Saturday before the Saturday night museum event.
