^^^ Thx! A work in progress, but I really like it.

Hard to believe, I couldn't read or play even one note when I first met you guys. Been working hard at it since then, though!

No kidding! What was your inspiration to start playing, Mike?

Hopefully one day I'll be able to join one of the SD meetups so I can properly introduce myself to you as I have with so many others on this little forum. Was just in Carlsbad last weekend, alas, to take my boy to Legoland. So I was booked :)

^^^ I had an old beat-up piano that I inherited many years ago. Just used it as a shelf for house plants. Then one evening I looked over at it and thought "hmmm... I'm gonna see if I can learn to play that thing." I had zero knowlege of music. In 2017 I bought my current piano, a wonderful instrument.

When my arm and hand were paralyzed in 2020, I spent my time delving into music theory. Fascinating stuff!

That's great. I had a guitar for the longest time, however, never played it. One of the guys on my team has an 8 year-old son that is a bit of a drumming prodigy and one day said to his dad "I wanna try out guitar" so I gave them mine as a gift. Inspiration never really came to me I suppose. I always enjoy stories of people that pick up new talents.
