Running errands and...

Post by 32wildbilly » Sun Jun 10, 2018 12:19 pm

I had absolutely nothing go wrong except the stoopid grin plastered across my face that I couldn't get rid of!

Observations:
87 F ambient temp. Car never got to the 0 in 180 and have never cleaned the radiators.
Lowest oil pressure was 2 bars while sitting at stop light after throughly warmed up.
Clutch pedal/shifting funkiness from last year has never returned. Must have been Black Forest Gremlins.
Stock exhaust sounds great above 3500 rpm.
Stock radio(CDR23/Bose) sounds great when I turn up some Jimi Hendrix.
Handles Great. Ride a little taunt accentuated by crappy streets but what the heck it's a sports car!
Another thing I appreciate with these cars is the visibility to sides and rear. If mirrors are adjusted right, it takes very little effort to peek at the blind spots as they aren't big. Surprises me due to size and design of car, but it works.
Parked in three different lots and did not attract any "close parking" idiots.
All of the above and more.

One of the most fun cars I've ever owned.

Did I mention the stoopid grin...

Will be driving our's to go meet KC in a bit. Because it's related to KC I will be disappointed if does not fail so catastrophically that DC and the tri-state are wiped from the map!

Alternatively it will do it on the 30th when I meet DT.

Seriously though, I do expect something to fail this month. Those two are bad luck and after 18 years of owning it (holy shit me and the car are getting old!!!) with no significant problems, I gotta be living on borrowed time!

DAMN! Just tell me if I would go there for a beach vacation? Or maybe I'll call Gonzo911 he seems to know all the good beach places! He identified Grand Cayman last year from one pic I posted and gave me insider info about TCI. BTW where has he been lately?

Gonzo disappeared. I texted him two weeks ago, no response. I will call this week, if all fails.... I will stop by his office.

I'm with EPiK. Although could be most anywhere in the central to northern Caribbean or South Texas to Florida based on that clue. However, pretty sure not many cliffs in most of those areas so...?
