As long as it doesn't come out as 966 I think he is pretty safe ripping off your design.

And the winner to this entitlement laced fiasco is... The Mecedes Benz Dealership! :o

Personally, not surprised the Attorney General didn't pursue further action against MB on this one. The owner still acts surprised? :?:

Although MB was a little sloppy in their reporting of the problem, the fact remains (as Kalash pointed out), the owner had to tow it to MB. The car was unable to be driven in on it's own. The guy wasn't smart enough to remove any modifications to the motor (i.e. amp hard wiring, inline fuse, etc.). This gave them enough evidence to cover their butts if they actually added to the engine death by trying to start the car. The nails on the coffin was the ECU data that points towards the MIL alerting the owner for almost 1000 miles prior. (he notes he assumed it was a faulty sensor) Finding out that the car was also extremely low on oil was another major nail in the owner's coffin. The biggest facepalm came when the owner expected MB to replace the motor free of charge even though he had NO evidence of foul play or any fraudulent practice by the hands of the MB techs and service center. The car was out of warranty and he drove it hot and low on oil. Boom!

Stunning. :D

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Holy crap. Now that the brake light switch seems to have resolved my intermittent ABS/PSM failure, my "soon" to-do list of deferred maintenance items is finished!

The e-brake switch is the ONLY issue I know of that's even remotely safety-related.

Next up: getting my "new" wheels touched up and painted. I think I'm going to go with a smoked chrome rather than silver or full chrome. Opinions? (For reference, my car looks suspiciously like the one in the site header...)

Based on all the sniffing the owner is doing in that video towards the end, I'm going with "Cocaine is a hell of a drug!" for $400 Alex!

Speaking of, anybody notice anything unusual about this shot of my A8L's dashboard?
