Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
OK, basically a public service announcement here: Rennlister and 996outposter nelsontod is selling his high-mileage, tippy 996TT to the first $25,000 taker. There is a ton of info on the car here and on Rennlist (dammit) because nelsontod has been posting a lot about it since he bought it a few months ago. Here's his post today on Rennlist (dammit) where he says he'll take $25k for it:

Arctic silver over metropol blue interior, which is a nice combination. He's got a 997TT arriving now and needs to get rid of the 996TT. He paid more than that for the car and has spent a lot of time and $$ on TLC since he bought it. I think it would be a nice buy at $28,000. $25,000 is a steal. I'd buy it myself to play with and flip it, but I'm in the middle of refinancing my office building, so no go for me. If any of you guys is thinking about getting into a 996TT, this is a cheap way to do it.

"Kind of like deleting a thread with over 300 members posting over 17,000 posts and nearly three-quarters of a million views. Sorry to say it, but deleting your 1,673 posts means nothing to them. Sorry to hear this. It sucks."kcattorney wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 7:33 am Sorry, but I couldn't help but to post in that thread. I'm fairly certain that's going to get me banned again. I didn't use the magic words "Good Week", but I still fully expect to be banned.
Yeah...thats gotta be worth 30 days...minimum!

Looks like Rennlist did the right thing - after being called out for not doing the right thing. Good for them(?).
Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

I wish they would have rubbed a little of that forgiveness on my account. I didn't even have the chance to plead my case. I don't think anyone cared.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 5:38 pmLooks like the "unwashed masses" can have an impact...NICE! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!...Wait I guess it's not 1969 anymore is it?

Worms are good. Olive oil, a little salt and a quick sauté...a bit gritty but, yum!b3freak wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 5:42 pmI wish they would have rubbed a little of that forgiveness on my account. Garlic. Don’t leave out the garlic. Or maybe a little minced shallot, if you’re feeling cheffy.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 5:57 pmWorms are good. Olive oil, a little salt and a quick sauté...a bit gritty but, yum!
