I see 997 owners are still showing why 996s are indeed the better car.

I'd much rather believe the thing is a car that is meant to be driven and enjoyed rather than incorrectly believe that it is some priceless piece of art that should only be looked at...

We should definitely shun Cuda if he joins that pack of fools...

Instead of a clear bra, the man blue tapes his Porsche 997 to prevent rock chips during his trip on the Dragon.
That is a sh!tload of blue tape. I'm pretty sure I didn't use that much blue tape last time I painted the inside of my house! Holy Crap!

That shit is $5-$7 a roll for the name-brand tape. That one tape job would probably pay for at least three 996 beaters...

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

My Pops suffered a pretty big tire blowout today in his 997 (outer sidewall blowout with a 4 year old Pilot SuperSport). Knowing my Carrera II's will fit with no issue, I drove out to help him replace the wheel to get home. I must say.. the 996 Carrera II wheel looks pretty good on a 997..

DAMN! Looks like you need to talk to your Dad about excessive cornering speed. Appears that he has rolling that tire under going too hard into the corners!

Would be interesting to know root cause of failure.

Makes us 996 owners thankful we drive Porsches that have proper spare tires. Just ask Schnelly, he'll tell you! :D Seriously, good to see you quick to help ya pops out when in trouble.
