I think you should go ahead and get a turbro now. They're durable, dependable, and you know you NEED one. You can drive mine if you'd like to get an idea. If you see this in the next hour, I'll bring it to the beach today (Carlsbad). Otherwise, it's a convertible day.

Oh, hey, I've got a shop to not recommend to you. Ha! ;)

And, oh yeah, that'll buff right out.

Still pursuing options, but the Cudamobile may still live to see its third life. That leaves 6 more.

The second one was a stupid "photo appraisal" by a company the insurance company hires. It was ridiculously low, $4k. It didn't adress MANY of the issues and had a total labor charge of one day. The shop guy laughed when he saw it. I have required the insurance company to send out a proper appraiser.

Just average 'em. Done!

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

That's the way to go! Once they start spending money they will keep spending money until it's fixed. Right?
