Groovzilla is his idol
Groov's issue is on a level of a sickness. Wonder if there is a mental illness for wanting to own every Porsche 911?
FTFY

Indeed there is, at least for me.

Sold my Jag 16 years ago and I still periodically run the VIN to see what's up with it.

I also still think about my Escape that I passed on to my FIL when I got the P!g.
Oh, definitely there is. When I sold the ‘99 C4 aero, I really had a hard time watching the new owner drive it away. Then the 6 months after that, before I bought the Turbro, were long, long months, even with the 928 and 951 to play with. 996s are fantastic vehicles, and you realize how special they are when it’s gone. I still miss the ‘99 and would buy it back in a heartbeat if I had a spot for it in the garage.

I think this is a carbon scaling issue with your energy transmission system. Luckily it's an easy fix. You'll need a small paper clip and some WD-40.

The first thing you're going to want to is trip the breaker for the room your computer is on for safety.
Next we'll unplug the computer from the wall.
The next step is to spray the WD-40 into the socket and onto the prongs of the cable. This will start the cleaning process.
Then we'll unbend the paper clip and wrap it around the base of the prongs. This is going to energize the cleaning process.
Finally plug it back in and head to the circuit breaker again.
Now you want to slowly reengage the breaker. Remember. SLOWLY. It's like opening a flood gate. If you let too much electricity through too quickly you'll break things. SLOWLY.
Once it's up to full power, let it clean for a minute, then shut the breaker off again.
Now go back to the computer and you can remove the paperclip and clean up the mess before the fire investigators get there.

Oh this is not a double-post but just kind of a shitpost - I made a kid (27) guess what year my car was yesterday and he guessed 2010. Not bad for a girl built in Sept of 02!

Funny - people always think mine is much newer than it is. Also funny - mine is 4 1/2 years older than yours (Feb. 1998 build).

wildbilly, LOL yes and to horrify you even further he was my Amazon delivery guy. He didn't know it was a Porsche but the first words out of his mouth were "Woah, I like your car!" so he won me over quickly.
