This one is from the summer and it's a deep cycle, so once it gets charged it should be ok.

Indy thinks it could be the security module starting to go. He's seen weird shit like before due to it.

What happened to your solar setup? Did you take out for the winter or did the snow block the sun long enough for the battree to die? I'm with theprf I've heard a bunch of weird crap can occur when the battery gets glitchy.

Yeah it's still there. I did leave the last snow for a long time so the panel was blocked and then it was overcast most of the time before yesterdays storm got here, so yeah it wasn't able to help.

Have you never seen pics of her car before? It is the stankiest looking 996 out there. Mechanically she still runs like new though.

Really the whole car needs to be repainted at this point, but with no garage to put it in she doesn't want to do that.

For the record, the roof is the last factory painted panel on the car. So that's Porsche's crappy paintwork...

Well my plastic work held and kept the inside dry!

AAA showed up to tow it this morning and contrary to me never being able to jump it when it's this dead, it jumped just fine for them

Window rolled up fine too.

Drove it to get gas (didn't turn it off) and then swung by the Indy to see what they thought about the window issue. Promptly stalled it when I pulled in and their jumper wouldn't restart it :(

Now it's on their charger and I'm just waiting...
Is it by chance an AGM battery? You know they have funny charging protocols when they go dead. Not all chargers will charge a dead AGM battery. Sometimes, you have to connect a good battery, I believe in parallel, with the charger to get it to charge. I learnt all of this when I owned that POS Audi A8 a few years ago. It would jump sometimes and not others. It would sit at my mechanic's on a charger for a day and still be dead, but then check out "OK" at Advance Auto Parts when I went to warranty it. Bottom line, if it is an AGM and it went dead, you should double check that it is actually drawing a charge.

Ugh, now I'm gonna have nightmares tonight about that damn Audi.

I suppose it's time to leave the home office and go back down to the basement to watch the Monday night playoff game while drinking more beer and battling the 'Rona.

That's what teeth or for!

Though that may have something to do with me working on my 3rd implant...
