Mk2 2004 996 Carrera Coupe 40 Jare
987 Boxste' S?
Mid-80's? 944
Mk2? 356
(Gonna Hail Mary here and say this baby blue baby is a 912?)
914
Mk1 997(S?)
904 Replica
(early?) 928
And last-liest but not least-liest:
THE EVER-LOVING FLAMING-RED KC HOOPTIE FLEET!
-Sorta correct on the 987 Boxste' - it is an RS60 https://www.motortrend.com/news/news270 ... 60-spyder/
(yeah, I'd never heard of it before either)
-What is it with yous guys mistaking a 924 for a 944. They're not even close.
-You got the 356 correct. Specifically, it is a 356SC model (a C with a more powerful engine, so the 2nd generation T6 body)
-Close on the 912 - it is a '72 911T. That particular car's name is "The Chick Magnet" because women love the color. The owner is a 80-something year old widower. But, he is a playah as he often shows up at club events with a different female on his arm.
-914-6 European model. 100 point car. May be the nicest 914 on the planet. Owner has a binder with German service records all laminated. It is absolutely flawless.
-The 997 is a C4S. To be honest, not sure how it made it in the display. We had a GT3 Cup Car cancel at the last second, but the owner offered a 2018 GT3 street car. So, not sure how a nice, but relatively unremarkable 997 C4S made it in lieu of the '18 GT3.
-904 is a Beck replica, and it rocks. We had a real 904 lined up, but the owner (a retired judge) decided he didn't like the language in the museum's loaner agreement, so he balked. The replica 904 is actually a more impressive care, definitely with more eye candy. The real one is rather plain.
-Yes, an original body 928
-And yes, the Guards Red contingent of the Hooptie Fleet! (from January as it was Scouting Month and we needed filler cars)
