Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
It isn't funny - except that's exactly what would happen to me. So that makes it funny.
Sorry, man.
Sorry, man.

For me, it would have cracked as I was loading it into my truck, immediately after paying for it.

Nah. I would have gotten it home, gotten the old one out (which would have broken so there was no going back), then the new one would break.

Reminds me of the Monty Python bookshop sketch and Olsen's Standard Book of British Birds - "I can't buy that, it's torn!"

Yea, Jack Kent Cook is rolling over in his grave.gnat wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 6:06 amFTFY. You left off part of the name.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 5:46 am The Washington Commanders of suck!!!
Really? That's the best they could come up with???
News did a story the other day that it's been 30 years since they last went to the Super Bowl. Since then they have won 3 (three) post season games. I swear every pre season, however, they win a game and the news will interview a bunch of people that are all excited that they are going to the Super Bowl that year
The team sucks. The fans suck. The owner REALLY sucks. So it's fitting that about the dumbest possible name was selected.

My paint is beat...unless Dr Colorchip has an option for gallon jugs w/ free rollers, there's no point.

I'm not sure I can handle another photo of gnat's wife's car so let's just focus on theprf again for a minute, huh?
prf- silver lining, you didn't hurt yourself. The other day I decided I was going to install some new pedals on my bike, since my shoes that I had ordered had come in I was hot to trot to get everything ready for a ride the next morning. I decided instead of waiting for the morning I would just do it at 11pm in my garage after I got home from the gym. So first thing I couldn't find my ratchet extension so I thought - what the hell this is a bike not a car, let's go! Within two attempts to turn the wrench I decided I loved biking so much that I gave my bike a big-ol' high five right on the main crank. 5 deep puncture wounds track marked down the bottom of my palm, and what rapidly began to resemble a crime scene on my garage floor.
The part that hurt the most? I didn't learn a single lesson. I've learned all of them already, I just got to be reminded I'm my own worst enemy. And where did I find the extension? Nope, not in the case with the other extensions, just in the case with the ratchet
I have photos but I don't want to get banned again.

Don't feel bad. There's an inside joke with me and the kids about working on cars. They say I can't open the hood on a car without my hands bleeding. There are valid reasons for their comment...
