I overruled everyone else and hired her anyway…who gives a shit if she has no social grace? She was smarter than anyone else in the room that day, DEFINITELY including me, and can program in any language we’ve needed to deal with. I guess that makes her a profane polyglot.
Holy shit. There is a female version of me running around? It's best if you keep us away from one another. I don't think the world could handle such a pairing!

Nah… I mentioned that she’s smarter than me.

Mrs. S. has now canned about a hundred jars of apple jelly, apple butter, apple jam, apple pie filling, habañero apple jelly, candied apple jelly, molasses apple preserves…when the grid goes down, my pee is DEFINITELY gonna smell like apples.

EXCELLENT! I wouldn't wait for the grid failure...

I see she is recycling the Bonne Maman jars/lids. Good on her! I don't know about out there but glass recycling is a joke around here.

Question to self: "Is this Schnelly and Billy teaming up to get me to Google 'Bonne Maman'?"

Not this time...but it's never a bad idea to be suspicious around here.

Definitely not a setup. You should absolutely Google it. Also not in “incognito” mode.

We usually just give it away, but she's been mobbed by folks this year asking if she sells it.

Then the Internet told me that you can get like $7 a jar for the stuff.

So now she sells it. Heh. But if anyone wants a jar, I'll hook you up...every good pusher knows the first one is always free.
