Thks. The shoe I'm holding is in a museum in New Zealand. I found it near where Scott's party landed for their trek to the South Pole. It belonged to someone in his group. They fared about as well as the Titan sub guys.

And here's the world's first picture of a penguin under the sea ice. I took it in 1984.

Was always on the lookout for these guys, they migrate there to feed. Was told "once you enter the water, you become part of the food chain."

I've got a buddy who was in Special Forces. Lots of time behind enemy lines as well as sneaking under the Berlin Wall. He did some diving as well. And was part of a test group jumping from 30,000 feet in the dark with a 150 pound nuke hanging between his legs. It's always an honor to hear the recounting of experiences. As an enthusiast drone operator, I can confirm that if most people saw what swims within 10 feet of them in the ocean, they'd never go back into the water.
