What did you do to/with your 996 today?
Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
I've been trying to get my tool situation under control - stuff I use going into the rolling box, stuff I seldom use going up onto pegboard, and stuff I never use going into storage totes. I am constantly in a state of not being able to use my stuff because it's obscured by my stuff, which is just stupid.
Not sure I'm ready for spray cans in individual holsters, but it's a solid long-term goal...

Hell, he's even got a spray can WITH the actual little straw thingy you stick in the nozzle. Like that's ever gonna happen at my house.

I collect old nozzles and spray things off empty cans to save for future clogs. I have another, smaller can rack on my cheapo tool cart that holds two cans and some screw drivers. Hardly the epitome of organization. I post a pic of the cart if I get the nerve. I have trouble with ridicule and rejection.

Speaking of ridicule and rejection, I have a client who was a MLB pitcher (now retired). He said the best piece of advice he ever got was if he had a bad game, just turn on ESPN and there's always somebody else having a worse one.

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
Still crap weather in the KC area, so I started the Leatherique process. Front seats today. I'll let the stuff set for a week or so then use their cleaner to remove it. The pic makes the drivers seat look a lot more worn than it is. I had to put a bright light on the dash so that I could see well enough so that I did not oil the seatbelts, floor mats, windows, etc. I used Leatherique on my '87 Benz to keep the seats somewhat soft. Seemed to work really well on that car, so I thought I'd try it on the 911. Whoever ordered the car got the full leather option. It sounds like a great idea until you realize that this includes the dash, headliner, everything. That's a lot of damn cowhide to treat.
