Yeah but...if not in use why would there be current flow other than to tiny little resistors and even if them why? Heat means using battery!

Ok Ok sorry for the confusion. This item has a magnetic deal that you could hook it to the laptop and leave it in place permanently whether using it or not. Of course I won't doing that now.

BTW "chicken" by divine intervention :shock:

I'm just being an obtuse smart-arse, sorry Billy. Serious answer is I only plug it in when I need to plug in a device so I never leave it hanging with nothing plugged in.

Ok I officially hate Apple!

Just saw a flash commercial for the new MacBook Pro M1 and it shows all the assorted inputs are now back eliminating needing all the Dongles-Dingles-Doofusses or what ever they are called.

Apple I hate you!
