If you guys notice some shenanigans with the site theme changing briefly...that's my fault. Testing out a couple of newer styles.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Newer, as in the 1982 style? Yup, uh huh, right...not that there's anything particularly wrong with 1982.

DAMMIT! I'm on here most all of my waking hours and I missed it. I am so bummed! The 80's were good to me.

There are so many things wrong with that. First: I don't go out in the snow unless absolutely necessary. Second: I hate tents from Boy Scouts(too much rain and too many spiders...big spiders). Third: I refuse to drive a sports car in the snow as I have better a snow capable vehicle. Fourth: I hate winter and snow. Fifth: I hate ladders. Last one I was on kicked out as I was coming off the roof and I fell backwards about eight feet down to the enclosed deck roof. That SUCKED! Sixth: Did I mention I hate winter and snow...I guess I did!

I tried. Believe me I tried. Wife said kids and grandkids more important than warmth and sunshine. When we went to Maui in 2013 and fell in love with the place I tried again. I said "sell everything back home, buy a condo, two Vespa's, a small pickup to haul the paddle boards and spend all our time on the beach." Nope...kids and grandkids. I said they could and would come visit often. Nope that didn't fly. So here I am in frozen Nebraska waiting for Spring...with a happy wife and that's worth a lot to me. After all she went with me to no-where Iowa for 11 years and Chicago suburbs for 2(nothing against Chicago if you're just visiting) so I owe her something. Besides she put up with my excessive drinking for 25+ years too. I will never be able to pay her back for that...

Vespas! I knew I liked you

Yeah a good wife is a hard thing to find and we owe them everything when we find the one that loves us in spite of all our shit. Things like cold and snow are minor irritations in exchange. Cheers for the good fortune!
