Yeah the seemingly never ending tank on the diesel is really nice. Always bugs me that diesel goes up as fast as gas these days (didn't used to be that way thanks to the trucker unions/lobbies), but does not start dropping when gas does.

If I were driving your P!g that 400 miles would probably be closer to 200, but I'd enjoy every last drop that I burned

Let's revisit this after you run it out the first time
On another note I made some tasty turkey soup from the random turkey leftovers. It's simple really, carrots celery and onions cooked over low heat for 10-15 minutes, then cheat by using boxed broth and add the cut up turkey. Bring to a boil momentarily then add garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, a dash of soy sauce, and your choice of rice or noodles and reduce to low heat for 20 minutes.
Dang wished you would have posted this a couple of days ago! My leftover turkey aged out today! I'm printing this for next year.
Never gonna make you cry...

I am not sure I like driving this thing fast. The seats have less than zero lateral support; the front seats may be the worst seats I have ever had in any car. My office chair has more lateral support. I think I need a six-point harness before I'll feel comfortable. Or perhaps race buckets. I wonder if the 996 Turbo seats will fit?

That's why I momentarily boil the stuff, in case anything might be living on the outside of the leftovers. My grandma used to send my home with a huge jar of turkey soup after Thanksgiving at her house. The soup was my favorite part of Thanksgiving. My soup isn't the same as grandma's soup because she did not cheat with store-bought broth. It's still good.

Does it not have the sport seats? I thought they were standard on the TTs. I bought the middle option on mine so they have more lateral support than the seemingly flat bench basic seats, but they still have some room for my ... body shape ... to be comfortable. The only time I really wished I got the sport seats was during the AutoX where I was throwing it around hard. Normal "spirited driving" they are plenty good, but you do have roughly 200hp and 100tq on me.

Also make sure you have PDCC and the suspension set to sport mode too as that will significantly reduce body roll and tighten things up.

As far as the 996 seats, anything is possible with enough money and bloody knuckles, but it won't be a drop in. At a minimum you'll have to build a platform for it to sit on to get you up to the correct height.

I have not got PDCC, that was an uncommon option on 955's. I do run the air suspension at the lowest setting.
These cannot possibly be sport seats as I am sliding around at parking lot speeds. The parts catalog shows the same foam inserts for all 955 front seats which makes me wonder if the "sport" seats were much different.

I would have to put the 996 seat on top of the existing platform. I doubt that any changes would be practical. Perhaps 957 sport seats might be possible, or the 957 seats with alcantara centers instead of slippery leather.

If you're not set on using only Porsche/OEM seats, some Recaro aftermarket seats are an option. They offer everything from comfy sofas to full racing buckets (which IMHO would be hilarious in an SUV).

I have Sparco QRT Performance race seats in my 911. They are actually more comfortable than the Cayenne seats...

Safe move starting with White though because while he's not "red white and blue" he's not technically anybody else either
