He just subscribed to Jake's YouTube channel.

Wonder what kind of comments will get from him? Think he'll show up on RL again? Maybe we should snag him over here. ha!
Is it the REAL Johnny Irish or just someone with the same name? We all know he doesn't keep a 996 long enough to need to do diagnostic work on it. Besides he always takes his rides to the dealer to chat up the beautiful baristas. I though he moved on to 997's anyway?
Never gonna make you cry...

I believe his last Porsche was a mk1 996 Tiptronic Cabriolet which ended up chewing up a transmission. After that expensive repair, I think it killed his devotion to the brand. At least for a while. He ended up selling the car. YouTube no longer allow someone to contact subscribers, but there are work arounds. hehehe!

I'm usually pretty good at determining if it's the real best-selling author, occasional Gitmo AirBNB guest, and internationally-renowned automotive fashion consultant John Ireland.

If he starts cursing at me after two or three exchanges in a thread, it's definitely him. If you want to try this on your own, suggest that his L.A. "condo" is actually just a dumpy apartment. That's the Ireland litmus test...

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

"john_ireland" without the underscore triggers a word substitution. :D

Try it...

It's the closest thing to an Easter egg we've got up in here.
