Thank you buddy! That selection of photos represent less than 1% of all of images she has on two computers and her iPhone. She's taken thousands. With her job Director of Marketing and Communications, she's constantly taking new photos. Thank goodness with the help of the Mac and face recognition, I was able to pull those together in just minutes.FRUNKenstein wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 8:47 amWhere you been, mang?
BTW, I got a kick out of your Mother's Day photo collage for your wife on Facebook. Normally, the photos that women post show them in the perfect pose and in the best light and only the most flattering way. Men, on the other hand, actually like to post funny pictures. I've got a doctor buddy whose wife would literally divorce him had he posted a candid photo of her.
Oh, and totally agree with you on the Facebook thing... most of the images and stories don't tell the true story. Most people prefer an "altered reality"... maybe that's what they should really call Facebook. But anyway.. I love more candid shots over posed.

Bobby I want to tell you, I'm not going FBI-deep on my self-praise but I knew as soon as I saw that license plate frame I was like - no way it's the "Hells Angels" wallpaper guy.. and then I saw your comment and I was so, so, so happy. Peak Bobby. I love you man.

Frunky might say they didn't hit the deck hard enough - too smooth a landing for a noob.

A Naval aviator told me they called carrier landings a "controlled crash". I think the dude did a fabulous job. I probably would have nose drilled into a field.Dr_Strangelove (whew!) wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 1:13 pm Frunky might say they didn't hit the deck hard enough - too smooth a landing for a noob.

Yeah, that was way too smooth for my liking. Where’s the fun in that?Dr_Strangelove (whew!) wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 1:13 pm Frunky might say they didn't hit the deck hard enough - too smooth a landing for a noob.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
let's see: prop, belly tank and attachments, maybe right wing tip and probably right landing gear. I'm guessing the Commanding Officer was not a happy fellow.
What is that? I though it was an F4U Corsair, but it doesn't have the fold up wings.
