I've pretty much abandoned Rennlist. Even when asking a simple question, I'd get insulted for not already knowing the answer. R-List is fast on it's way to becomming the automotive Facebook. 99% crap, 1% potentially useful information.

I mainly stick to the classifieds and 996TT section. Smaller group.
Is this group PC?

Well, as I said in the other thread about that thread, I'd have closed it a long time ago. Not due to the joke itself, but to nix all the pointless fighting. No one's mind is getting changed in that thread and letting it go on is clearly fracturing people that I know used to get along.
I only go back if my attention is drawn to it (and I haven't logged in since shortly after b3 played the ass and got perma-banned), but what I see saddens me. There is little life beyond the same questions that have been asked for years getting the same answers. When there is a glimmer of life it seems to devolve into a shit show.

Yea not getting involved, I stay clear of things like that. I come here to talk and read about a hobby of mine, my car. It’s a haven from the daily grind I/we all experience. I’m sure most on here can relate.
That said, I am enjoying watching dock and Carlo debate about which is faster, a MT or Tip 0-60. Good articles have surfaced.
I’ll through this out there since were car buffs.. when I was younger I dreamed about getting an NSX, ever since they came out in 91. However, the last 2 years or so the 996TT really captivated me, and while I thought hard about an NSX, I decided to get the P. Newer and faster, arguably more fun.
There’s a good video I watched before I made my purchase, which probably confirmed my decision. Grab a cup of joe and watch the first 25 min.

I was about to go, "Oh my LAWD!!!... in the *state* of Georgia??", then I read it's the country. Whooosh... I was about to head for the bunkers.
Jake, on the other hand, would probably want to watch.
On a serious note, my father was apart of the hydrogen bomb testing while he was in the Navy. He used to fly through the explosion and take measurements. Yep, now you know why I'm so crazy. Surprisingly enough, he is still alive to talk about it.
