So, Cuda...what's the story with you and the taco-holding Doug DeMuro?

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Wait, that didn't come out right.

There was guacaMOLE on that taco. I'm sure of it.

As per above I perceived/intended no dickishness during the above exchanges. Just an exchange between two folks.

It's all good on this side.

Not sure what you two are going on about - I was referring to Gnat.

I can't remember if I've already whined about it, but does anyone else drive anything that wants R-1234yf refrigerant?

Spoiler: the dealer wants $380 to top the Grand Cherokee up with a pound of the stuff.

Autozone sells a 14 ounce recharge kit (A/C Pro R-1234yf) for about $130, which is $80-90 higher than a similar kit with R-134a. Your stealership's quote would appear to have considerable profit margin in it, but that boutique refrigerant in your GC is quite pricey.

I've used the A/C Pro kit (R-134a version) several years ago in a prior vehicle. It was a simple and speedy process and resulted in more cold air from the AC that She Who Must Be Obeyed *strongly desired".

WTF does the GC need refrigerant for? It's not that old?

The only car I've ever needed to do it for was a 88 325xi because the lines were trashed and needed to be replaced.

The 911 is still running on its factory fill and still blows nice and cold.
