If you live in CA and you want a generator, lawn mower, or leaf blower...start saving your nickels now.

Gasoline-powered lawn mowers and leaf blowers will soon be a thing of the past in California. Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed into law a bill that will ban the sale of small internal combustion engines predominately used in lawn and garden equipment, starting as soon as 2024.

Well that's pretty ridiculous. Just a political stance which will very little impact on air cleanliness or petroleum usage compared to the real pollution creators. Keep in mind my comments are coming from a tree hugger...me.

I've been thinking about an inverter generator setup to replace my $50 5KW Predator POS...

Maybe I'll just stock up on small gasoline engines and sell them out of my trunk to the lawn maintenance guys.

"Psst...buddy...how about some 2-stroke action?"

Maybe that pitch needs additional refining.

Makes me wonder how many are anchored on essential items strung across the ocean floor.

Hey Frunk! Isn't this part of your frat organization? They haven't done so well lately.
UNL suspends Fiji through 2026 following reported sexual assault

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has suspended the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity through 2026 following a reported sexual assault that took place on the first day of classes this school year.

The suspension comes a little more than a year after Phi Gamma Delta, better known as Fiji, emerged from a three-year suspension that was handed down in 2017.

In a statement, UNL said the University Conduct Board determined violations of the Student Code of Conduct took place at the fraternity house, 1425 R St.

Just what violations of the code took place were not specified.

The suspension comes more than a month after a 17-year-old UNL student told UNL Police she was sexually assaulted by a 19-year-old member of the fraternity during the early morning hours of Aug. 24.

The alleged assault was reported to campus police at 3:47 a.m. from Bryan East Campus hospital, where the 17-year-old was evaluated, police said.

Biden today:
President Biden announced agreements for longer hours at the Port of Los Angeles, the nation's largest port, and longer hours at many of the nation's major retailers.

The President said that "after weeks of negotiations," the Port of Los Angeles announced today that it will begin operating 24 hours a day and seven days a week. This comes after the Port of Long Beach made a similar 24/7 operating commitment.

"This is the first key step toward moving our entire freight, transportation and logistical supply chain nationwide to a 24/7 system," Biden said.
My question is WTF!! So this has been going on for weeks, ships stacked up like cord wood, people running out essentials and these clowns were working like everything was normal!!!???

That is not right! Having been in a product transportation business for 35 years when the shit hits the fan it's time to go WFO to serve the customer as per promise or contract. Something is broken here...

Long Beach has been running 24/7 for a while. Los Angeles, not so much.
